Gig Overview: You are provided with 2 links to UI designs (figma file)  for a Recruitment Management System. The Recruitment management system also includes the Human Capital Management Talent and Development Profile. You are to design a secure and scalable database schema to store the information on the UI.

Expertise: Back End Development, Database Schema Development

Required Skills: Proficiency in MySQL and database design are required to participate in this project. 

Software/Design Requirements: 

- DBMS: MySQL

Gig Description:

- Analyse the data requirements and design tables that capture all necessary data fields.

- Define data types, relationships, and constraints for all tables:

- Foreign Key: Establish foreign key relationships where applicable, such as linking generated_by in the Reports Table to id in the Users Table.

- Indexes: Create indexes for frequently searched columns, like email in the Staff Table or department.

-Ensure data integrity with constraints like NOT NULL, UNIQUE, and appropriate use of ENUM types for fields like role and status.

- Deliverables:

-Database schema design document (ERD) with tables, fields, and relationships clearly defined.

- SQL scripts to create and populate tables for testing.

- Documentation explaining the schema, data types, relationships, and constraints.

Expectations: As a Techo chosen to participate in this gig, we have some expectations.

-Timely Completion: complete each gig within the given timeframe. If the gig has not been completed within this frame, the project will be re-assigned.

- Communication: Stay in touch with the Community Manager for guidance, support and feedback throughout the project. This can be done through the chat box in the My Gigs section underneath the gig description.
